    Windows Live Messenger - It is very easy to use, even though I dislike some of the updates. Very user friendly, and you can use patches as in Msgplus, Messenger Discovery and what not to customize the messenger. It's quite cool. I used to use AIM for the longest time, but converted to MSN after realizing how much better it really was.

    WLM is pretty nice. It's actually the only messenger I like tbh. Yahoo and AIM are shitty, imo.

    msn, just because everyone else has it really. It was the first messenger I ever used and the only one I'll ever use probably.

    Other messengers might come out with better features or something, but I don't think people will actually switch to them from msn...
