Hello there everybody and specially the creator of RID.


It seems like the bot doesn't work after the new update here 3th december, where for example CPU and some new look on numbers has been invented.

So I was first of all wondering if I was the only one having problems with the bot - as soon as I start it up, it logins on my account, but right after it has logged on, it tempolites (turns off), like disappear or is not on. Ye kinda not working. This is the first time I've had problems with it, so I thought it might be the patch? And if it is, how long time will there go before it works again?

I believe the bot is either turned down for a while, untill RID fixes the bot (probably new version), because of the new patch that came out today - graphically changes. Or else Jagex secretly might have released some kind of software to Runescape, so if your trying to use the program that RID bot uses while playing RS, it will automatically close down.

Since the bot works fine untill u have logged online, and then it moves a little for like 0-5 seconds, and turns of.


I don't have enough experience yet to say if it does it because RID shut it off for a while, or because of a bug.


That's why I seek an answer for someone with more experience about the bot than me. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME OUT!



Or is it even something while difference causing the problem now? Because it hapenned for me like right after the update.

Does anyone know how to terminate this program, if let's say

1. It's paused and you don't want it to continue
2. It's somehow running in the background...

What's the name of the process? I think it may have crashed my computer when I accidentally ran several copies of it.

Well noticed Drahque, there was a subtle graphic update today, BlackSmith and Pest Contol were both updated, but MT4 is unaffected by this update and should be running fine.

So what you should do, and anyone else having problems, is go to the support page at www.robotzindisguise.com and look through the list of trouble-shooting tips. I suggest looking at the solution to problem 4. I'll update the support page soon, so instead of scrolling through a list the information is more easily accessible.

In other news, BlackSmith has finally been given an overhaul for Al-Kharid and is now working brilliantly, just as well as it does in Neitiznot. I didn't anticipate it would be popular for Al-Kharid, but 200k an hour doing steel bars could well be the best way to make money in f2p, it's now going faster and more reliably too, great bot.

I can't say too much before release, but there are two RiD new bots in the pipeline, with a bit of luck both will be out by Christmas. One of these will (at least initially) be free, but it's not like any other free bot you'll have seen, and will work in f2p. You'd have to pay for this from other sites, and this bot is made the RiD way, with each person's bot being unique, etc, so it's much better than what you get from other sites.
The other is members only, I need it to build up some skills quickly (can train more than one skill) and is a similar sized project as MT4.

The free trial system will be changing soon, since the bots are constantly changing you will be able to re-take the trial each month. So if you can't buy credit you can get 2-3M a month, along with a little training, with the free trial.

Finally, there will be new payment options coming soon, people have long requested pay-by-mail and mobile phone payment options, both are being setup now and will be available soon. Thank you.

It's common for new users to run the bot with the wrong RuneScape graphic settings. Once you've read the user's guide, you'll know what to do. Give that a try, and if for any reason you don't get results, send a description of the problem to support and I'll look into it, and can even assign you a new graveyard bot.
At the moment the bot works on all Windows operating systems (although you need to set theme to classic on Vista and 7), but may not work on others. You can however use a program like VMware Player (free), to run Windows inside another operating system, in a window which you can then minimize. I recommend VMware to everyone, it has many other great uses besides minimizing RiD.

umm yea i kno i have all points for 10 inf boots..i just need grave yard points..and it starts but then just stops by itself..ive used the bot plenty of times..have all right settings..but ill go over it now and see..

this vmware thing will create like a fake visual thing of windows xp or somethign and ill be bale to run the bot on that and minimize it?

 

Yeah, if the spell you selected is unavailable it will quit (in all minigames).

Yes, it creates a virtual machine you can run the bot inside and minimize. As an added bonus, this way of minimizing, involves no tampering with the RuneScape client, because it minimizes your windows session instead.

 

RiD, do you even check your customer support email? I emailed you over 3 weeks ago reguarding random event screenshot and alching problems.

but please double check the MT4 bots. I'm guessing it has trouble recognizing the username becasue it shuts off as soon as it logs you in. My settings should be correct. (everything was working as of yesterday)

Finally after 10 hours of trying to fix my bot, which suddenly didn't work after the new graphic update, which changed the look of ingame letters. I tried everything from rebooting, changing browers, using VMWare to using other computers all from stacional, laptop and to other user systems like Vista, 7 and XP. Nothing helped. I even checked out the graphic setup everytime, and thought for a long time the 1280x768 could be the problem, since on XP u can't set it to exactly 1280x800, but u can on vista. Anyhoolers, this wasn't the problem, because it worked just before the update.

So I kept working hard, had the update in my mind, checked all solutions on the homepage and nothing could help me in the support, because all was right. Well.... then I saw RID writing to someone else just before, that the bot check ur ingame left cornor bottom name when it logins!


AND I GOT DIIIIIIIIIIIIIING ''the best idea''. Because my name is something like XX_XX, and the ''_'' first of all makes the next letter capital, and also before u could see the ''_'', which u can't now!!!



So I simply logged into my bot, changed the name from example ''Test_Testl'' to ''Test Test'', so with a space instead of ''_'', because it now ingame shows a space instead.

Then I Tried to run my but on this new user name (after transfering some hour to it), and it suddenly worked! (BIIIIING IT WORKED JUST FINE AGAIN) Because before it logged in, 0-3 seconds after it logged on and saw my name it terminated lol.



I would like u, RID to know this new name bug, and hope u can sort it out or help all who has this problem. Because I know I am clearly not the only one.

Probably u could make it impossible to type ur name with ''_'' when u create it, and changes all who has ''_'' in their name to just a space, or tell this bug to others.



Btw I got 10 screenshots of event etc. so far from bot, would u like me to send them to u or should I wait till I've used my bot a little longer and will have more screenshots?




And one last thing: Does the 1280x768 do any difference? I mean its so small different - 0x32 difference. I believe it doesn't, because the bot works fine for me.

 

Yeah, if u don't have peaches spell it will terminate. Also when I tried to get 200 points for peaches spell with my bot some days ago, it was set to banas ofc. But as soon as it got down, and lost more than 6 hp, it would loggout.

So it could get like 20-30 points an hour if it didn't terminate, all because of this low hp loose set. I can say I Got far over 80 hp, so that can't be the problem if it's set to percentages.


I wonder if u could set up the percentage to like for example if u loose over 25 % hp u will loggout, instead of the small 5 % or whatever it's set at. (This was to RID).


And for you sir (The player with the problem), I Would personally get the 200 points for peaches spell myself in graveyard, after u got it, set it to peaches only and it will just work fine!!!! =)

 

Btw this is for all new users, or who doesn't have the bot yet!

I've been using this bot for 2 days now, and got 80-90 magic including earning almost enough points for whole 80 infinity boots, just need the graveyard and telekenetic pizzaz, but will wait with these till I get 99 magic in less than 5 days.

This bot is amazing, and runs just perfectly, it will only become better and better with the more experience u get with it, and you learn how to set it up best for yourself. It's amazing how humanic this bot is, and u can easily sleep well in the night without thinking about: ''Will the bot work it though whole night?'', ''Will the bot get me banned, because I am not there?'' etc.
--> One thing is sure, this is the best ever made bot for runescape and the only real undetectable one (Blacksmithing and PC ones might be undetectable too, but havn't tried them yet, but will sooner than later).


And again: EVERYBODY TRY THIS BOT OUT AND HELP MAKING IT BETTER!!

 

the bot cancels itself because it sees the zero as an o when is the bot gonna be updated, mt4

 

Didn't realise they'd changed the 0's, updated, try it now (no need to re-download).

Thanks Draque, I'll fix the underscore bug in the next MT4 update. For now it will work if you replace underscore with a space in your username/displayname (in MT4). Btw 80 boots in 2 days?! - but you don't wanna tell Jagex the real number of boots you've got the past couple days here anyway, guideline 3. If the recorder recorded the full solution of an event, send it in, otherwise it won't be of use.
