Can you get arrested for threatening to ddos some one in rs?

hey guys, well my friend was playing at my house and he threatened to have his friend ddos someone not seriously but will jagex look into this or will they think its not much. but anyway we have no idea how to hack or anything so do you think jagex will look into this? like have fbi Etc. i'v seen people send in appeals to burn now jagex's headquarters or hackor ddos there servers and nothings happened so do we have to worry?

we didn't actually hack or do anything he was just threatening to have our friend ddos him.

 

If the person you ddos"ed has proof you did it, or if you actullay did, indeed yes.

 

we didn't even ddos he was just saying he would get a friend to. We don't know how to do it.

yeah, they probably wont do anything even if you knew how... there is probably so many people making threats always that they wouldnt know who was saying the truth...

Technically maybe, since it is a threat, then its plausible to get arrested. But no one would take it seriously (you wouldn't actually get arrested).

It all depends how serious the attack is. Dos'ing someone once and giggling won't do much to you unless that one player calls his isp while his internet is down.

If on the other hand you decide to be a retard and Dos for example, www.runescape.com you will be in some serious trouble my friends.

 

Owning a botnet is illegal, obviously it's illegal to Dos people..
