Cod: Mw2 & Left 4 Dead 2 - For Sale!! Gifts!! Not Accts

Alright so I'm seeing a lot of good things and a lot of bad things here. I really do want to go ahead and buy a MW2 gift, but I keep hearing that some steam accounts/gifts are being revoked which is sort of an issue for me. I want 100% assurance that the steam account I hold right now is not going to be locked up forever without refund because of a sketchy deal. My account has been around for a while and has more then $100 worth of games that I do not want to see wasted.

So how am I supposed to get some good assurance as to this working out? I'm really not too sure on the rules that Steam has, if they have a rule set that says they can lock up my entire account thats pretty bad, but if all they do is take away the game then maybe its worth trying if refunds are possible?

Also I realize that you have a lot of people trying to add you on MSN right now and trying to talk to you, is there any chance I'm going to get anywhere near having MW2 or even being added on MSN?

 

Buying Steam gifts can be risky. If the seller is using a stolen money (paypal/cc) Steam can revoke the gift and your account will be banned. I'm not saying the seller is a scammer or anything but the sticky mentions that gifts purchased with stolen cash will get the receiver of the gift banned if the payment gets reversed.

 

Steam disables your account. Just recently happened to me after buying a MW2 gift. I'm only buying keys from now on.

Keys are also risky, if you get one cheap it may be from a different region and you lose the game.
