Thoughts on 2012

Ah yes, the hype going around all over the world.

There are many opinions regarding 2012. Some say Mankind won't end but some say it will. I personally don't really have an opinion either way, because there is so much evidence pointing both ways. If it ends, it ends, and there is nothing that we can do about it. Underground bases won't do much help considering mass earthquakes and tsunamis.

Reasons:

Planet X: (Nibiru)
I couldn't give two shits about this fake planet, I don't believe there is a 9th planet in our solar system that's going to knock Earth off its rotation. I mean, wouldn't Nibiru would orbit the sun also, not just come right through Earth.

The Planets will align perfectly:
On december 21st, 2012 during the winter solstice, every planet is supposed to align perfectly. Did anyone mention to you that this happens every single year on the winter solstice?

Solar Flare:
This might be the only one that I believe. The sun normally flares every 11 or so years, just not very strongly. The last time there as a strong solar flare, was in 1959 when there wasn't very much technology except maybe Telephone wires that completely stopped working. There is supposed to be a solar flare strong enough to totally take this world. If anybody has seen the movie Knowing, imagine it like that. Does anybody think that hiding from that will do much help?

Mayan Calender:
Apparently the Mayans were pretty good with astronomy. Sure, I'll believe that. What man can possibly predict the end of the world hundreds of years later just by looking into the sky. Has anyone considered that they just never finished writing the calender?
Also, after some studying, I've looked at other calenders from however many years ago where Mankind lives on for hundreds more years.

Poles Changing.
Sure, it might happen. But nobody knows this. If it does happen, it's supposed to cause mass floods and earthquakes strong enough to put countries underwater and made into rubble. I've heard scientists say it happens every 25,000 years and I've heard scientists say it happens every 70,000 years. 25,000-70,000 isn't a very good estimation. The Poles shifting won't end Mankind either, it will just weaken the magnetic fields. Move to the middle of your country so you don't get affected nearly as much by this. Not very hard.

If I had to pick a choice on rather the world is going to end or not, I'd say no it won't. Scientists are just cheap no lifes trying to come up with this doomsday rumor to make a few quick bucks when they produce money and books. Don't buy a single 2012 book or movie from anyone. I guarantee the rumors will stop then.​
