Attempting a comeback.

I haven't been able to make anything since the halloween SOTW. And now, I'm finally able to. I'm trying to regress to where I was last December, as I made sigs every day, and actually got semi good. These are my most recent.


It could be sharpened. But, I like the outcome of it. I basically did a photomanipulation. I did no resources whatsoever in it.

And of course, my large piece for the current SOTW. It's not the greatest I've done.

I really like the 'simplicity' of the first one, and as ever I'm a huge fan of black and white.

I really like the first one. So is that what a clipping mask is?

Your first one is way better then your second one. I dont really get what it is. Maybe more effects?
Overall, it doesnt look bad.

Those are basically what clipping masks are, yes, but I didn't use that many of theme. I just took the original stock, and erased with a splatter brush.

 

to many clipping masks on the left tends to disrupt the overall flow and balance of the sig.

remove the kiabin text or move it.

how about trying to burn and dodge the background to add some texture and flow.

as previously stated it needs sharpening.

 

Erase some of the side splatters, and sharpen the clipping masks, and the gas masks

Oh my God , the Tony Hawk one is so awesome

 

Really like your LP. Especially what you've done around his legs.

 

I like the first one, but in the 2nd one, he looks like a cripple.

 

I kind of noticed that after you said something. I basically covered up the legs in clipping masks. I might make some edits before I have one definite SOTW entry. Any suggestions?
