My ban dispute >_>

I know it says don't dispute it, but I still don't feel like I did anything wrong >_>

If possible, I'd like this to be read by someone other than Benwise.. since apparently he feels strongly about it judging by his post in my thread -_-

1: This had nothing to do with a trade. As far as I know, this guy wasn't even associated with Sythe.

2: He said he was giving me the account. He said "Don't get the account defence or it would suck" or something along those lines. I get on the account, drop the bank, and get defence on it. Yes, I assumed he was going to scam me, but if he wasn't going to scam me then he was actually giving me the account. If he's giving me the account, I don't care about it and I'm getting defence and dropping the bank. What's wrong with that?

3: I don't think leaking information is against the rules, but if it is, it's most likely because of the scam that I assumed this guy was using. By stating in my post that it would probably get recovered and saying I was giving it out for the sole purpose of ruining the account more, shouldn't I be allowed to do that?

So that pretty much covers the three reasons I was banned. I'd like to mention again that as far as I know, this guy isn't even from Sythe. I'm fairly sure you guys didn't ban people back when there was no trade limit for scamming random people in RuneScape with the needle trick etc. So even if this could be considered scamming, why am I being banned for it?

I personally feel strongly on this, he took someones account, emptied the bank, leaked its password, etc etc etc.

Someone else needs to help decide on this.

 

From his perspective, I don't see anything he did wrong. If he was given the account, then it's his to "ruin". The account would then be made into a main, but if there's no thread linking to the purchase of the account, then why would he be banned in the first place. He never scammed anything and there is no link to a scam besides the fact that he gave the account away.

Also, I don't see why yo123 was banned either for logging on an account that was being given away. The account was given to Frets, and yo123 may have participated in "ruining" it, but it was Frets wish to do so. It's just the same as giving someone the user/pass to my pure and asking them to mess it up. However, my account is mine, and wasn't given to me by someone else, so I see some reasoning.

I see no wrong in this, so I feel Frets and yo123 should be unbanned.
