how to jum start your car (or anything else)

how to jump start your car​

1.first get some jumper cables (see below)


2.lift up the hoods on each car and grab one end of jumper cables(doesnt matter which just make sure the other ends arn't touching)


3.next hook the ends you have in your hands to the source( the car that isn't dead). on the battery there is a black and red area with cords connected to them (see picture below) put the RED ON THE RED FIRST then put the black on the black



4.now do the same on vehicle being jumped started. should like kinda like this


5.try starting the vehicle. if it doesnt start trying turning on the other car that you are using to jump start it with. this isn't nessary but you can try it

6.now you are going to take the jumper cables off backtracking how you put them on. you start by taking the black of of the car that is now jump started and then the red. you then do the same to the source. black then red. then put the hoods down and drive off

 

Hmmm I thought it was black on black first, black being the negative, it would be the ground.

 

thats not what i was tought lol.... iv always done it red first

 

eh well none the less, apparently no damage is done either way if the vehicles we have jummped are still running =P
