Oblivion vs. fallout 3 which one is better

so today i started to argue with my brother about wich one is better. he thinks oblivion is better. i think fall out 3. what do you think?

 

Oblivion.

 

Definitely Oblivion, mainly because of the guilds and better quests.

 

Own both game of the year versions . They're both very good games , but I think Oblivion is the best

 

Definitely Oblivion, Because the fact of the graphics has a more twist then Fallout 3, Longer fight scenes and quest lines plus tons of surprises.

 

Definitely Oblivion. I love sword games and all those kinds. Plus on Oblivion for the PC you can add mods which means you can add like gore, dragons, monsters and all that good stuff.

 

i like fallout because you get guns and explosives and i like to total theme of game better. but whatever

 

Oblivion has the most predictable storyline, ever.
I found Fallout 3 to be a better game. The story is a lot deeper, the world is a lot more interesting to explore, the graphics are nicer, there is a wider veriety of weapons etc. Also, whoever said that adding mods is a bonus to oblivion, you can also add mods to Fallout 3. Also, the veriety of paths that you can choose in fallout is amazing.

I've finished both of them.
Honestly Oblivion(I ended up level 44 w/ like 180 quests done or something) is better then Fallout 3(I was level 20... dunno about the quests).
Oblivion, is really fun, even at the start. The start of Fallout 3 made me bored, end is alright, though.

Can Oblivion even be compared to Fallout 3?

 

Oblivion because, i was emmersed so much more into it that i was fallout 3, fallout 3 is a great game no argument their, but oblivion gave me more to do, and made gaming in general better for me.

 

MY ARGUEMENT IS:

fallout 3 has many better objects ect and a funner way to be, but when your wondering the wasteland you just get over conerned about your radiation, you cant enjoy the water ways so it influences gamer stress, also with the extensions packs they promise valour and fortune, in the end they become dull and boring and just straight set quests *excluding point look out which gives you a vast tropic feeling to the game, but dont forget. to enjoy this you must first complete the story line to the isle. weapons also seem to come and go and worst thing is, at some point your out of ammo with 17hp left against a enlcave officer with a laser pistol, gets anoying after awhile,

oblivion:

with the endless glitches to get free money and duping your weapons it gives the player a endless possibility of being able to afford any armour of sword, when you get the best sword your the don of the game. and the best thing is. argueably WHAT IS THE BEST SWORD? but after you complete the storyline and finally move onto shivering isles you begin to enjoy the game to maxiumum potential

conclusion:

oblivion owns fallout 3 with swords included

 

Fallout 3 is a better game overall, but I like the leveling and the concept in Oblivion more. Also I like Oblivion more for the quests. There are nearly 200 quests, where in Fallout 3 there are barely 30. Also, Oblivion has more skills and stats. Oblivion is funnier too.

 

You are not putting out two good examples of a "which is better" post, as oblivion is medievl and fallout 3 is an fps. please find more option or a more extended topic like "which 360 games are better" and come up with atleast 7 more options. But i would still have to say Elder scrolls IV: oblivion.

 

To be honest, this is the worst forum to get opinions on this on. it'll be so bias. Sythe is (primarily) a runescape forum. That means swords and armour and shit, which is what oblivion is about.
