    Best EP Spot in P2P

Here I will discuss one of the safest and best spots to gain EP.

    What is EP?
-EP stands for earned potential. The higher your earned potential is, the better your drop is (assuming the player you killed as well as you were risking 75k or more). You only gain 25% EP every 30 minutes (hotspot- marked with flaming skull) or 15% (non hotspot), making it a slight pain. The max EP you can receive in P2P is 100% (recommended you do not get 100% if you're current EP is already above 76, as the next time you gain EP you will gain 25-(what you gained) the next time.) Every time you kill a player, your EP drops depending on your loot and combat level. So where should you gain EP?

    Where to Gain EP?

-In my past experience, the best area to gain EP was in the Ardougne Boat (Excuse me for spelling errors), but now since the removal of protect item in PVP, I discovered the best place was the Mage Arena. What's so good about this area? It is deep in the wild, so very few people go there on BH worlds with no protect or PVP worlds, depending on your location, you can be surrounded by many mages that prevent noobs from attacking you, and only magic can be used in the arena, making it impossible to die from a Dragon Claws spec, Dark Bow spec, etc.

    What Should I bring?

-Since you can ONLY get attacked by magic, you should maximize your magic defense and nothing else. So here's a basic set up of what I wear and bring when gaining EP.

    -Here's a what I bring and wear.
    Wear:
Head- Jester hat or Mystic Hat
Body- Black D'hide Body (Or the best dragon leather armor you can wear)
Legs- Black D'hide Chaps (Or the best dragon leather armor you can wear)
Arms- Black D'hide Vamb (Or the best dragon leather armor you can wear)
Ring- Beacon Ring (obtained from quest) or None
    Amulet- Amulet of Magic
Boots- Jester Boots or Mystic Boots
    Cape- God Cape
    Weapon- Basic Elemental Staff
    Shield- Holy Book

You're probably wondering why I wear the Jester items. It's obviously because of the Mage defense, but what's so good about them? They're free, and they provide +5 magic bonus each, with the Infinity Hat only giving +6 and the boots +5. Where do I get these Jester items? You get these items while doing Fremnik Isles.

    Inventory:
    • Knife or Cutting Weapon
    • Rest of the spaces are your preferred food (I bring wine as they heal 11 and I rarely get attacked)
    • Optional (If you are not risking 75k): Bring enough noted noob longbows (regular to maple) so your risk is barely 75k. This is so when people kill you (Don't worry, you probably won't die), they won't receive a half-decent drop, as you're risking noted items.

How do I Get to the Mage Arena (can be done in a Non-PVP world for safety)

-I don't like walking to the Mage Arena, so I just use the level in Edgeville or Ardougne. I mainly use the Edge teleport, as it is closer. First, teleport to Edgeville with a knife or cutting weapon (or walk...) using your glory amulet with your protect from melee prayer on (or no prayer) and RUN to the lever on the East of the Yew trees. After you are there, go North and cut the spider webs with your weapon or knife and go West. Teleport into the Mage's Cave. Get your gear (DON'T FORGET YOUR KNIFE AND GOD CAPE) and tele out. Then walk slightly east to the entrance and enter it. Congratulations, you are now in. But it doesn't stop there. Enter the arena with no god cape, and wait until the a mage that is the same as your cape (ie: get attacked by Guthix mage when you have a Guthix cape). Run to the South East corner of the inner arena and equip your cape to stop the mage from attacking. Now you can safely gain EP or AFK.

    Omfg halp, I'm getting attacked!

-When getting attacked, just run out of the Arena and lure the mages into attacking your aggressor, then just run around the outer circle until 10 seconds are up, log out and change to a different PVP world, you shouldn't die unless you're totally AFK.

    How Good is this Place?

-Pretty damn good, considering I afked here from 0-100% and only got attacked once and used 4 food.

Open to any criticism, tips, or questions. Hope this helped.

Ya, it's good to gain ep while fighting, but with 0 ep you'd have to be in a fight for like 30 minutes. I only use this when I'm at 0 ep. Just tried this yesterday, was able to get to 100 ep with no noob mages.

Bh world (+1) I hope lol. Would be a shame to lose the shield :(. But ya, if you have it, you should use it in +1 worlds, but there are more maxed mages, etc there.
