Looking to buy OSRS GP - need advice first

Hey all,

So as I’m sure you’re all aware Jagex seems to be cracking down hard on the buyers of RWT now. I have a bit of time off over Christmas and want to buy some GP before the new raid comes out next year and items get even more pricey. I’ve heard that using reputable Sythe users/one or two specific other sites (I wont name in case it’s not allowed) are the best ways of buying gold as they’re more interested in keeping both parties safe. I’m also thinking of setting up a proxy to level up an alt account and use that to buy the gold. I’m not sure of the best way of doing this and if there is even a way of doing it nowadays without my main receiving a warning? I’d like to keep the account completely clean hence the mule but some people seem to think this won’t work either. I’d love some input from more experienced buyers and sellers out there as I really don’t have time to grind out Gp for hours on end and I want to actually enjoy my time when I am able to play (why spend my sometimes one night a week grinding for money when I could be bossing in good gear, right?).

Doesnt matter whether you use your main or a mule, jagex will still trace it if you are unlucky to get banned.

Stick to solo buyers/sellers - dont use websites.

Yes tip jar is good method, especially if you can host g altar for like an hour and have them tip you after like 40 mins of hosting.

 

I have been RWTing for 3 years so should have more experience then the guys posting above. If i can give you a bit of advice:
Don't use tip jar, don't use drop trading, don't use pking another pker method. Do regular trading on the account you normally play on from the ip address you normally play on. Everyday there are hundreds of bills being traded between regular players, that's where you want to hide your RWT trades. If a couple of hundred mill is been given through tip jar, that means that that is a highly irregular behavior since nobody gives hundreds of mills to a house party host.

Jagex will never know if the trade to another player was a loan, a split through a PVM drop or anything else. Hence there is no absolute proof that the trade was in fact RWT. This is where you want to do the trade. If you are buying more then 1b+ i would suggest to then buy 1b first and then 1b a couple of days later. Don't use a mule as well. High combat accounts are the safest.

 

Even if you are using a proxy your accounts can still be linked through system tracking (this is the cache files and random.dat file that you have in your jagex folder) so please follow the advice above and you should not be afraid. After the new update i have been trading 50b+ without any problems following these methods.

 

i have been using the same 2 mules i have used from the start and havent been banned o any of the two not even after trading 1bill in 1trade.

 

How many times in a single day do you normally trade off of your mule? Any maximums that you tend to stick to ?

 

im not that big yet that i have like bills stacked up but i have traded up to a bill in one trade and once i reach about 500m on one mule i switch to the other one and vice versa, sometimes i have daily 20 - 30 trades and other maybe 3 but im active daily yes. Also i try to get some activity besides trading donit know if it actually helps but hey, whatever floats my boat right?

 

I've been buying osgp for years and never had a rwt ban. I bought 100m to days ago, no issues.
