Just because your apart of a cheating forum doesn't mean your gonna get banned for it. This forum isn't all of a cheating forum there are runescape general sections as well. When you got banned you did something restarted.

Jagex is always watching dude, always block out your name, total level and some other stats to ensure your accounts safety.

 

If he is happy playing Runescape let him be. Not everyone has fun going to parties and playing sports.

 

I wonder about this myself. Both my main (which I sold on here) and my skiller (which I had tried to sell but never did) were a part of the mass banning on 9/9/09. The reason for the ban had been changed from bug abuse to just "manual permanent ban", which to me makes it seem as though the real reason is something totally different.

I would just be very selective with the skills shown in screenshots and if selling, provide the pictures to people who seem genuinely interested.

 

And he also stated he got banned for botting.

Hey, sorry to hear about the Perm. Acc ban In the future, take some tips of what the guys here are gonna tell you; If you're gonna make a new account, your best bet isn't to bot at all from now on if they've got you targeted, otherwise it'll be back to step one with an IP ban to boot.

If you plan to sell, like they said, knock out a couple of levels and the total level along with your username otherwise they'll know within an instant what your Account is, presuming it's on the hiscores.

Still, really sorry to hear If you make a new account I can give you a hand with leveling to get it back up for you, im sorry I can't do more.

 

Yeah they're known to lurk forums,
why they targeted you; I have no clue.

I remember rscheata members recieved bans for buying the "nexus" bot from that site, and they'd just IP track your account or whatever, but I havn't seen that done for awhile.

 

That sure is a funny coincidence... :S Jagex definitely is watching... but how much they do with the things they see here on Sythe, I have no idea. Tough luck
