All I did, was add text, and play with some filters. Tell me what you think, I know its not "origonal"

And it sais "Josh" because I made this for a friend.

but anyway i think the plastic wrap filter kinda ruins the sonic render
but...other than that its...pretty good...does your friend like it?

 

that... is nothing, just a render wiriting a brush ( mabye ) and a filter.

 

You have a huge amount to learn technically, read some tutorials.

About the signature, avoid lens flares, avoud layer blending (until you learn how), avoid filters, etc.

First step would probably be learning to clip/smudge.

 

And to add to what T R 1 B A L has said, you will also want to avoid using the Bevel and Emboss tool (not really a tool, but, meh..). Even with text, in 99% of the cases it is used in, it completely ruins the piece.

My suggestion to you for now would be to stick with following tutorials (most likely beginner tutorials). You can find some pretty nice ones on www.deviantart.com .

did you put a chrome effect on it? if so i hate it. it ruins the picture. also it looks like you did a whit 100 px soft brush dot on the side of render, put a chrome effect(maybe), and added a lens flare
