Never tried to do something like this before what do you reccomend I go about doing next. [IMG] Obviously it isn't an intire page. I went for half of one, just to see how I could do.

    Help me out with Websdesign

I just recently had to design 3 webpages for a major school project... It was my first time but they turned out well, I'll see if I can upload my best one...

They're done in Photoshop so you can compare and get ideas from it (I'm assuming you're using PS aswell?)

EDIT: This is one of my better ones, not too great, but it could help you out with things like layout, buttons, links, etc.

Thanks, the style doesn't really match up, but im interested to see how the picture placement might look.

I'd suggest getting rid of the coloured sides, they always look abit noobish.

Go for the style Alteranz has shown you.

The sides look kinda awkward. I personally always prefer a modern design. Maybe adding a gradient which is darker at the sides would be a good idea?
Put in on in a layer at the top and then put the layer to overlay or softlight or just at low opacity.

Firstly, anything to do with web design, I advise asking TDD/Jansen, since they're the experienced ones.

The only thing I'd recommend is using a repeated image by the x or y axis, since it makes backgrounds easier, and more functional for different resolutions, etc.
