title says it all. why is this logical? Because im tired of seeing spammers going to a thread thats months old, 1st post edited to "sold" or "scammed off me, closed" or anythign like that, and ull see "is the acc still for sale?" just to get a free post, and it doesnt just go for market, it goes for any thread, maybe u got what u needed out of it or u just didnt want anyone else to post, i mean its your thread so yea :D

i think this will limit a good amount of spamming in the market :)

    But it won't happen.

Oh I just made this pin business scammed a pin and deleted it, true the mods could find it in logs but it would take time.

If the trade is done and someone else posts on it, it is considered spam and you may report it. If you want your thread closed then just PM me (if it's in the Market section) or any other mod.

No, scammers will use this to their full advantage and immediately edit/close the thread as soon as they scam.

No. Moderator powers will not be given to users. Just PM a global or a market mod. Or report the thread and just say "Please close".

The spammer section, which is what the reports go to (Use the red triangle on the top right of all posts) gets done regularly.

then why not use that time to ban a scammer or unban an appealer, rather then giving someone an infraction.

Support 100%. Add a support list, btw.

That's only because it's much easier to be lazy on the "report a spammer" forum.

See below. Having a couple of spammers on threads that were meant to be closed is better than allowing room for more scammers.

You can do a page of spam reports in the time it takes to do one average ban appeal or scam report. Plus, scam reports need the person that banned them to explain the situation meaning it takes even longer if the person is not online.
