An Idea

So I figured since it is important to get new members to start trying GFX, it would be interesting if a couple of people (probably 5 or 6) chose from a list of signature tutorials and posted thier results. They would need to follow the tutorial almost to the letter except with a different render or stock. In the end the finished piece and the tutorial used could be posted as a sticky, to show GFX newbies what they could potentially learn to achieve and to help set goals.

 

I would love to try GFX, however I know absolutely nothing about it.

 

I do agree, a couple of talented GFX'ers on Sythe could possibly write a tutorial so the newbies could follow them. The only problem is, do they have the time? Viper said he would be willing to write tutorials if he was to get payed for his time.

Yeah it's a good idea, we'd have to start with basic tuts and make the difficulty level progress.
