GTA 4 Installation Error - GIVING AWAY RS ACC

I purchased Grand Theft Auto 4 from GameStop about 6 months ago for $55.00 and I installed it once, and had to reformat.. and it hasn't work since. When I put the GTA 4 Disc 1 into the computer, go to My Computer and double click on GTA 4. It auto plays, and takes me to the Grand Theft Auto IV Setup. I click on Install Social Club and freezes. After a about 2-3 minutes. A Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error comes up and says...

"Runtime Error!

Program: ...~1\Temp\{59867A96-3905-4C9E-883A-5F4BE41728D2}\setup.exe

abnormal program termination"

I click ok, and nothing happens. When I click on Install Social Club again, it just does the same thing.

Clear your temp files, either you are missing some systems file or something is corrupted.

If clearing your temp files doesn't work, perform a windows update to make sure everything is up to date.

Also, do you get an error code?

Also, I think you're on 64x Windows, so try to find the 32x redistributable packages and run GTA4 in compatability mode.

I installed the rockstar thing, and now I don't get the error when I click agree or accept (whatever it it is LOL), it just freezes.. no more runtime error.

 

Use CCleaner to cleam .tmp files and try runnung Setup.exe as Admin if possible. Also see if your computer can run it properly or if the crack (if you're using is uptodate)
