Meh, personally it makes me feel like I'm buying from a website. I prefer the current method because it makes you feel like you're in direct contact with another person, not some company.

 

It would make the market much better, also it would stop people from not including some information..

 

I really like the look of it, and I can't wait!

As we already talked about, my suggestion for this would be that:

The characters automaticly get a title, as what they are, so you can easily navigate through the characters.

Like: Skiller, Pure, Tank, Skiller.

And for the people who think the forum works fine now:

Well, people have no idea what a pure is, and the pure forum is filled with mains and tank and dfs pures and level 136 pures etc. This would remove a huge burden from the mods, seeing that have to move every single post, and we are literally talking 100s of posts, I know, I'm the one reporting them -.-.

With this system there would be almost no mod work needed. And people could probably close the threads themselves when the char is sold.

I think this is a great idea for account sales. It simplifies and organizes the sales, and the search engine feature will be a HUGE benefit to weed out scammers. Why is that?

Scammers who are continuously selling the same account and recovering it will no longer find it so easy to cover up their tracks. If I am able to search through account sales on Sythe based on stats, it will quickly turn up if the character has been sold before. This gives a huge advantage to buyers who take time to research the account they are buying, and should decrease the amount of recovery scams going on on Sythe.

However, this format only is necessary for the accounts section. Pins and GP are much less specialized purchases. I look forward to seeing this implemented.

 

How would the two systems work together? Is one system going to the be default, and the other optional?

I really like the layout, though I think that the layout graphics and decor can be increased

I like your design, its simple, it would make trades faster, and it eliminates the wasted time spent searching for an account that you like.

As it was said before, this takes away the more personal touch made by Sythes users, alot of users perfer the simplistic use of just clicking and viewing to see what they can get, instead of searching for an exact account.

I agree with you, lordhooters, we don't want to lose the personal feel on Sythe. I think this system could still incorporate that, this would simply be the format for starting an account sale. Potential buyers would still be able to respond in a forum format, and sellers could reply. There is even an area for comments in the first post that people can use to personalize their sale.

Looks great, but if Jagex were to see this wouldn't they be able to ban the account since it has almost all the information right there?

I love it Matt! It looks amazing. I think it would make account trading a lot more informative on what you are buying.

 

I love the look of it. It's very organized and looks much more professional than the regular forum posts.

 

I think it could work out for parts like payment accepted for RSGP sales and Pin Sales.

Even if the name is visible they cant ban as they cant prove you own the account.
