2012? (Movie)

I just saw 2012 today, and it was a good movie, for the most part. The plot was really good, and the characters were developed brilliantly. There is literally action every 5 minutes (not in the beginning, though), but it can get overwhelming.
Overall, I give it a 3.5/4.

What are your thoughts/opinions about it?
Will you go see it?

I usually, for the most part, agree with their overall rating.. I'm sure it's going to be everything a big, blockbuster is supposed to be... and I'm sure it's gonna be a competent post apocalyptic movie... but I'm not expecting anything fresh.

 

Yeah same man, I read there that the plot was nothing special.
Basically, it looks like something you come in expecting good effects and nothing too special and leave feeling the same way.
Guess I'll have to see it with my Mum :noworry:

 

I'm wanting to see it solely for the special affects. But my small podunk town doesn't have it yet.

 

When I saw the preview a couple months back, it looked like something with a lot of action and stuff. It doesn't sound as enjoyable now. Were there any parts just that made you go "omg!?!?" ?

 

I think this movie is relying solely on the special effects. I bet the movie itself is horrible.

 

The acting in the movie as pretty good. There were humorous parts in the movie that actually make you laugh. There were also many sad and inspirational moments in it too.
This movie keeps you watching every second.

 

Does the world end? Or does somebody save us yet again?

Fantastic movie loved it is definitely one of my favorites.

 

The world doesn't get destroyed, it kind of "cleanses" itself.

 

I saw the previews for it and it seems pretty good to me so ill most likely be seeing it sometime in the next week

 

It`s a pretty long movie, but it is worth the money.

 

Overall i think it was a great movie, i liked all the characters and the special effects were crazyy!

 

Fun popcorn movie. It was better than the Day After Tomorrow and 10000 BC for sure (same director). But honestly if you want to see a great movie this weekend, see The Blind Side. It was better than I expected and one of the top 'inspirational' movies I have seen in a long time.

 

Wow really? Wasn't expecting anything good from that movie. It just looks horribly cliched... I mean, just by the previews it looks like Radio + Remember the Titans smashed together.

Great Movie

 

I'm going to see it now with my dad we have talked about this 2012 a lot. Hehe. I hope it's as good as you guys say.

 

The movie wasn't that great. I just saw it today, and it didn't have a very well developed plot and there wasn't very much action. The whole movie relied on special effects, which were cool, but not amazing.

 

I really want to go see this. Probably won't though.
