Guide Verification

In the Runescape Guide Sales section, many guides are being verified by Mods, but they aren't as good as they seem. Note-I haven't bought any guides so I don't have exact proof, but many people have posted saying it wasn't worth it or it wasn't what was said.

-Guy selling 15m/hr RWT guide, verified by Benwise90, everyone saying its no where near 15m an hour/worth buying

-Jensen verified this RWT guide, said, "you may have heard of this method before, don't blame me". Well, if people already know this, why is this allowed to be sold??? People have said this wasn't worth buying...

I think the Mods should either do a better job verifying to make sure that what the person says the guide will do and what the guide actually does are the same thing or have an entirely new process for verifying because the current one isn't 100% effective.

I agree, I spent 15$ on a guide like 2 months ago, and it didn't work at all, and it was verified.

 

You have to look how long ago it was verified.

You are totally right. I think we also need more mods verifying things as if you look at most of them, it was either benwise or r33l.

 

Yeah we need a whole new guide verifying system its hard to get a guide verified too and the ones that are verified quickly arent worth it at all

 

maby weekly or monthly verification? so that way there are less verified guides but they are almost guaranteed quality?

might be kind of a hassle for mods tho

I totally agree. Even though I have never purchased a guide, I am in the verified guide section a lot. I read many of the comments and most of the time, people say that it's not worth it, which results in me not buying the guide. If the guides were in the verified guide section, they should at least work as stated, otherwise, they should be left in the unverified guides part.

 

I agree, we should get a staff member specifically for verifying guides/dealing with the guides forums.

Who knows? some people would do anything to be mod

edit: also by verifying lots of guides they'd be learning the methods themselves..

 

Maybe other mods could help now and then, but one mod SPECIFICALLY for just that forum would be very helpful.

 

I don't think your aloud to suggest new mods, but something does need to be done.
