Quit WoW while you can, Azeroth is about to be raped by a giant dragon called Deathwing. The game is overun with 12 year old noobs, and it's getting really easy to get gear. Which kinda defeats the object in it, originally a hardcore game for hardcores now just a game. But i'd say try looking on the map that usually helps.

If I had to guess, you're one of those 12 year olds.

OP: It's a good game, you'll enjoy it, just make sure to play with friends. And know that the first 50 levels are hell x10. It's not really fun until you get past those, but easily worth it.
Also, download an addon called Questhelper. It's great, will speed up leveling immensely. Good luck. :)

Alright here well this should sum it up:
Go to curse.com then register then after you've registered look near the top and you should see "Select a Portal" then a drop-down list should appear and click "WorldofWarcraft" after that click "Client' then choose the download (Mac or PC). Then install it and there should be a icon on your desktop that looks like this [IMG] double-click it and login with the account name, password you've registered with then after that curse client should be up then click "Find an Addon" then in that search-toolbar type in "Questhelper" and then this should appear [IMG] double-click the one that is in blue and let the add-on download, install then open up worldofwarcraft like you normally would if you were playing login and then you should see a button named "Add-ons" at your character screen click it and you should "Questhelper" with a gold check next to it in a box. If it's not gold-checked in the box simply click the box once.
    And boom you have questhelper!
Click "M" once your in-game and that opens up your Map and you should where you need to go to get/kill things/"mobs" for your quest!
    Have fun playing WorldofWarcraft :).

Well if you don't want to go through all that addon stuff with curse, go to wow.curse.com click the addons link, search for questhelper(should be in top downloads so just click from there), download it then extract the file into C:/Program Files/World of Warcraft/Interface/AddOns easy as pie.

Wow is really a time stealer, and you will love it, just sad you didn't start in the earlier years, in my opinion it was best at 60.

Anyone who thinks the new games are good obviously never played the original back in the day, because that was when it was good. Before it was taken over sadly. But yeah still a game..

Rofl, I have no idea what game you've been playing/or had played. (Almost seems like you've never played it). Anyway, I've played since closed beta, the game as never been purely for Hardcores. Even back in Vanilla to get far in raiding, there was a high chance of being hardcore, but still.

Anyway, leave the city and go quest. That'd be your best bet.

I'm sure you'll find people to help you once you progress in a game. I agree, get questhelper. Also look up more addons, as it makes the game heaps easier and more enjoyable.
