You are kinda hinting at the fact that just because the rest of us may not be christians, we won't give the money away. No need to insert some religion in there, pal. Its not a religious debate.

I have had hard times all my life and i would give it away. You can't earn life and i have 2 legs and 2 hands that i can use to earn money.

Oh shut up, just because you are christian because your parents told you god is real doesn't mean you have to be a fruit cake about it. YOU WOULD keep it and I know this for a fact, because you are human. Humans take whatever they can. I'm PRETTY sure you would take 1 million over a pat on the back and a thank you from a mom.

 

It matters how good the friend is. If the friend is a bad friend then I would keep the money. If he is a good friend then I would give him half the money or at least 1/4.

Don't tell me to shut up. I wouldn't keep it if the friend was a very close friend. Plus humans don't take whatever they can. I would rather live like a live now than be ultra rich. Yeah, I might want to have like a big house and stuff and a great job, but not like Bill Gates or anything. Money leads to bad habits sometimes if you don't know what your doing. You have to be smart with money. >_<

Depends on the circumstances. How good is this friend? Do I actually know the woman? Shit like that...

All of you saying that you would give the money strait up... here's a question for you.

Let's say you win the state lottery. You get 25 million after taxes are stolen. So, would you give every single cent of that money to starving children in Africa? Kudos if you would, but personally, I would think about myself first and foremost. Instead of giving it to people that need it for life and death situations, I would use it to improve my own life, and the lives of the people I love. I would make sure that my cousins have enough money to get through college comfortably. Is it a life or death matter? No, but I would obviously choose that over giving it away.

So yeah, unless you wouldn't give it all away, don't think you're on some kind of moral high ground here.

If lets say i DID win 25 million yes i would send FOOD and SUPPLIES and EDUCATION to the children in africa and other places that need the help but with the money left over i would give to my family. So basically no i am not thinking about myself i am thinking about my family. I do not care for paper money when i have the feeling that i did something good and even though history won't ever mention me, i contributed to part of it.

Well, since I live in a country where the government cares about its people, I would keep it. But if I was to live anywhere else, I would help her out. Chances are her story would get on the news and I'd look like a hero.

Depending on the level of financial debt, I could spend a little money setting up a plane trip, etc., help my friend's Mum with the money and then disappear into South America or Asia.

 

NO WAY would i give it away. If you say you would, then why do you still have any money now? people are dieing everyday, why does this guys mum mean more then anyone else?
