That said - here are some account buying "Do's" and "Don'ts"

Basically, I take a look at their accounts history, their vouches, their post history, etc., it's always a good idea to ask for the login name for the account you're buying before payment, and searching it on both Google and these forums.

Here's a few rules of thumb to follow:

• Never just go off the number of vouches. Anyone can get volume. If a scammer wants, they can easily go and buy 200m, then resell 50m to 4 people, then buy 200m, resell 100m to 2 people, and lather rinse repeat and they've got 50 vouches and it cost them $6. You need to read the vouches and determine if people are actually TRUSTING that person. Lots of scammers will create a new account, immediately donate to Sythe, then do a few mundane trades to build up "reputation" so that they can scam for large amounts.

For example:

This would be an example a vouch you could consider to be valuable to somebodies reputation:
"I bought a 2000 total main from this user for $800, it went great, super happy with the purchase!"

Whereas a vouch like this:
"bought 2b gold"

means nothing. The logic behind this is, you don't know who went first, and thus you don't know if the user was even really trusted with anything.

• Always avoid accounts that seem underpriced. "Too good to be true" is 100% more real on this website. If someone is selling their 2277 for 800m, they're doing so because they know they're either not even giving the account, or because they know they're going to recover it afterwards. At the end of the day, spending more money on a safe account will always be the better bet.
• Don't be in a rush to finish transactions. Take your time and do your due diligence. Search their discord, search their email, ask the buyer for the login name of the account and search that, etc.
• And finally, keep wealth on a purchased account to a minimum for at least a few months after purchase (unless you've bought it from an extremely trusted source)

 

there's no such thing as a 100% secure account.
it always comes at a risk, no matter how you look at it.

the official "insured" value is the purchase value, meaning if you put 10B on it and max that account you bought for 250$, you're going to be reimbursed 250$ at best. (which is still unlikely since recovery usually goes along with a scam quit)

i highy suggest taking your own account and having it boosted, that's the only safe way.
the account will be yours and you will not have to worry about recovery or anything alike

most Service discords will provide you with a package deal when going for "max" or some other endgame goals, might be worth looking into
