whats the number 1 best horror game ever

so iv decided i am going to buy a horror game. which one is best? i have a ps2 and xbox360. i am thinking bout getting silent hill 2 because every body says its preety scary.post what you think

 

I thought Resident Evil 4 was pretty fun, I heard 5 was great.

I'd agree with Dead Space

Your best bet is Dead Space or Silent Hill 2. If you want a cheapy get one of the Condemned games.

 

Bioshock is pretty scary and it has a great story. Definitely reccommended.

 

Agreed,the story and concept are better then Dead Space but imo Dead Space had more action

 

Look into japanese horror games. Depends if you want gameplay, visuals, storyline or pop out screaming shit really. I reckon, just google it, look at some reviews and rent some games!

Dead Space will scare the shit out of you and has decent gameplay (8/10). Resident Evil 5 isn't scary, but has great gameplay (9.5/10), RE is actually more of an action game now *sigh*

I don't think there's many other "scary" games out there.. but if you want to jump a lot get Dead Space, just the music creeps me the fuck out.
