    Wisdom teeth.

Got my wisdom teeth removed yesterday at 9:00. They were comming in sideways, so they had to cut into my gums to remove them because they wouldn't be able to surface. I wasn't too crazy about being put out, so I just had the local anesthesia. It wasn't bad only 8 shots, 2 for each tooth. The procedure itself wasn't bad, couldn't feel it at all except for when he removed the top left tooth. After that I couldn't stop the bleeding so I couldn't eat/drink anything. Its pretty nasty when swallowing your own blood =S. Ended up throwing up a lot, couldn't sleep well last night because of the bleeding/throwing up. Today its a lot better, Im barely bleeding and not throwing up. I can also eat/drink certain stuff. So tell me about your experience with getting your wisdom teeth removed.

I had the same problem, all four of them were growing in crooked so they had to cut into my gums. This was about two months ago and I still have flaps. I was put under with an IV never had to get any other shots. Was in pain for one or two days and a day or two of discomfort. Heres my xray:

    Local anesthesia only?! Tough guy.

I got vicodin for a week afterwards. I got 3 removed.

Here's a couple tips that I can give you:
-Spit, don't swallow your blood. Blood in your stomach will give you nausea as you've said
-Eat jello and stuff but don't eat the same thing every meal cause you'll get tired of it
-Dunno if they've told you this but don't stop brushing your teeth or using mouthwash, you can get a terrible infection. Gargling with salt water will prevent this too.
-If you're not on any prescription painkillers, they make it so much better. Unless you're afraid of taking them for whatever reason, see if you can get on them.
-Just so you know, being knocked out does not hurt one bit and it makes the whole thing so much easier to take...

    Wisdom teeth.

I was 12. I had jacked up wisdom teeth.

Turned out I had 5. Got them all removed in one day. Good thing I was asleep while they did it (they also pulled another tooth).

I got back home, high from the anesthesia, feeling good, and immediately went to sleep.

About 10 hours passed and then I got a tiny pain in my mouth. I woke up and I took out the gauze. I felt a rushing gust of pain that tingled my very spine. It started bleeding very badly and I swallowed about half a mouthful of blood.

Here I am, in my bed at roughly 4:00 a.m., throwing up all over my floor. I freaked out. I put the gauze back in and felt my cheeks. I accidentally slapped them because I didn't expect them to be that big. I *think* I passed out, because I woke up in my parents bed two days later.

It kept hurting for about 2 weeks and the swelling stayed for a while longer.

Meh, worst experience of my life.
