Come on sythe every second you go offline.

Opinions.

 

We already have the best webhost we can get pretty much.

 

Then why does sythe go off every second.

 

It doesn't.... It goes down a good amount, but not anywhere close to every second.

 

It was down for a while today...

 

Big DDoS attacks, don't talk if you don't know why, how or what the reason is for sythes downtime.

 

D2Jsp.org never shuts down, but isnt a black market site.



Simple solution- If you donated maybe he would buy a better server.

 

Solution: Maybe if Sythe stops slacking around and gets better security.

 

DDoS isn't all that impossible to kill with decent security (here is one for an instance).

I kinda remember Sythe staff saying they were manually blocking the DDoS'ers IP ;p not exactly the way to go!

 

We have an anti-DDOS script, that bans many many legitimate users as well as DDOSers...

A better webhost is out of the question as the current one, a dedicated server I'm pretty sure, costs 100s a month already.

 

Sythe is down at times for me but its still up for a lot.

It would be nice if Sythe could get a better server however I can see this costly a lot especially with all the traffic that Sythe gets.

 

I think Sythe pays a great deal at the moment for his current hosting. It's all the attacks on Sythe which keep it down. I would think that upgrading the secuirty script would help. Wouldn't it?

 

You honestly think a website like this would have a mediocre security script. It probably already has an extremely good one, this site is fine and It's only down for about 20 minutes more or less a day.

 

I'm not saying it's mediocre. I am saying we should upgrade any part of it that we can. Also, its down for atleast 1-2 hours a day if not more.

 

It's pretty much top of the league.
