this took place on OUR Soil. in an ARMY Base. in the base, are some of the most sane people in the world.

and it was our own American troops.

Ft. Hood...the guy shot up the soldiers that we're getting ready to deploy in the near future. Before you deploy you have to go through a whole series of shots/eye exams/financial work(will etc. . .). Its a shame those soldier's didn't get to go to Afghanistan/Iraq to do their job and shoot up the bad guys.

The weird thing about it is, when I first heard about it I figured it was some private or maybe even some NCO (sergeant of some sort). . .It was a fucking Major. I was completely flawed when they said Major.

I was just at the SRP facility yesterday (not ft. hoods). . .I'm glad no lunatic was there.

Psychiatrists can become crazy themselves from doing their job. I despise the fact that the man killed many people but I can understand that it could be a reaction to extreme stress or other problems. Maybe something like in Full Metal Jacket happened :S?
As I just heard on the news "he was harrassed over his Middle Eastern background".
I mean how would you feel if what you thought were your colleagues treated you as the enemy you were dedicated to stopping!

There are many many worse shootings happening in the world all the time they just aren't announced, communist countries kill that many people before lunch without hesitation. The fact is there will always be people who will try to rule others that lust for power and control and there will always be people who will try to stop those people for lust of glory and praise. So until these 2 things stop happening every day we will lose 100-1000's of lives to people with guns and what ever other weapons they can get there hands on. I don't believe we should give this person what they want by plastering him on all the tabloids with doing that it creates more ignorant people like him that think they will get famous for doing the same shit.

Now don't get me wrong this isn't a anti gun speech I own several guns myself it's a anti moron speech.

 

If it was our troops, then the army should have known the dude was going to do something and done something.... And... They were on an army base and some cop had to come shoot the bastard... What? Don't they have guns there? >_>.
