    Jesus and Christianity?

I watched the movie Antichrist last night and it kinda got me thinking. What if Jesus was never ressurected? What if someone helped him get out of the cave and he just ran somewhere else? It's not like it wouldn't be impossible.

Also, the Antichrist movie is one of the most fucked up things I have ever seen, defiantly reccommend it if you can pay close attention to it, otherwise you won't understand anything.

Theories can be facts that just aren't proven, or are not able to be proven.

Also, I remember you, weren't you banned?

    Jesus and Christianity?

This is the problem with Atheists they see some type of bad thing in Christianity and start talking shit they don't take in considiration that the scriptures in the bible were really old and most things get lost in translation.
It's just plain ignorant when they themselves can't prove the existence of us or the universe it's just really annoying to see all these stupid fucking Atheists saying how they are right and everyone else is wrong...

    Jesus and Christianity?

    1. So, you seem to imply that Christians can prove the existence of the universe, and don't tell others that their beliefs are wrong? Give me a break.

    2. You think atheists are the one that don't consider how fucked up the bible is? That's what we THRIVE on.

I'm not going to play the "Let's make stupid generalizations game". You don't seem too bright, but thank me for not making that assertion to the rest of your religion.

    Jesus and Christianity?

That's a very hypocrytical statement. You are saying atheist's beliefs are completely wrong because they said your beliefs are wrong.

I'd just like to say there's been no proper evidence god or jesus ever existed except for the bible and as we know.. mentally ill people have always existed!
What if.. some guy just wrote a book to give people good guidelines to live upon.. or just wrote some funny stories.. then some crazy people took it all completely seriously and made some big scam out of it called Christianity =D!

    Jesus and Christianity?

    1. There are bad things with Christianity. Holy wars and oppression.
    2. Just because the scriptures are old you assume that there was once some ultimate truth to be found there, but this all got lost in translation? How do you know it wasn't even more bullshit 1800 years ago?
    3. Can you prove how the universe came to be? If not, scratch that argument because it goes both ways.
    4. it's just really annoying to see all these stupid fucking Christians saying how they are right and everyone else is wrong... See what I did there?

I agree with you man, but I think during the translation, they might've left some things out for the sake of humanity.

    Jesus and Christianity?

Congratz. You managed to solve the most perplexing human curiosity of all time with the least amount of credibility, and most amount of ignorance, possible.
Isn't this forum designed for the trading of intelligently constructed ideas?
Or is this the forum where we're supposed to simply spew out comments of humor-attempting, thought-unprovoking, logic-defying, and topic-regressive ideas?
There is plenty of other evidence that Jesus existed, but not that he was necessarily more than just an ordinary man. But the Bible is the evidence that he was a God in the form of a man.
    What if... white was black?
kthx, take your uneducated speculation elsewhere.

As to the thread's speculation: If Jesus didn't resurrect, the Bible and Christian would be false, and God wouldn't exist. Although the latter statement would be my implied opinion, the former would be inevitable fact.

Would someone like to refute that? If not, this gay debate is closed, kthx.

    Jesus and Christianity?

You must be new to Christianity... and probably never read the Bible. So allow me to enlighten a little with related passages:
In short, you will never "know". I now refer you to the studying of the term "faith" of which you have no apparent understanding of. When you learn of this term, you will understand the fundamentals of Christiandom.

    Jesus and Christianity?

Actually, I'd say the most ignorant situation would be to making something up in place of accepting the fact that we just don't know. Accepting that death is merely the biological consequence of let's say, stopped brain function, seems to be a legitamate assertion based on known evidence.

So the Bible's credentials come from what?

Hold on there. Disproving Jesus's resurrection would only cast doubts upon one categorical group of religions...

Your latter statement: God wouldn't exist.
Your former statement: Jesus didn't resurrect.
    Explain yourself.

Sure. My studies of faith have led to the following conclusion: Either faith is inherently irrational, or it is just a "rational" way to explain otherwise irrational beliefs.

    Anytime.
