Runescape 2 Cheating - Search Noobs.

Well, T R 1 B A L have been extra nice to the users of the Runescape 2 Cheating forum, placing both a stick for requests/questions, and a stick reminding you to use the search function to answer questions already answered.

BUT!

The same questions do still get asked every single day...

50% of them are things like.. "What's the best bot" "Is Rsbots.net good?" etc.

My humble request is, can't we somehow make the 2 stickies stand out? Bold them? Make them more visible somehow?

And worst of it all, SuF even created a thread to deal with Rsbots.net/Autofighter.org questions:http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=701843

Yet, the forum is clogged up lame questions.

A few possible fixes:
Make the sickies stand out so noobs notice them.
Make it infractable asking questions already answered.
Make it infractable asking questions, when there's a sticky for it.

 

It's not that users do not notice them, but that they do not care to read them. Most Leechers come to this website for one thing: Engaging in the market. They enter the market looking for that pin or account so that they can close up shop and leave until they need something else. For that reason they will just spam up the forums (in most cases) and ignore all the stickies, as they are interested in an account, not the sticky.

This also applies to the stickies within the RS2 Section. Users just wish to post in threads that are most appealing to them, and stickies are not something they really wish to look over. As they say, ignorance is bliss, but in this instance, it's just quite irksome.

I'd support this suggestion, but I really see no way how it will change things. People break the rules everyday, and it's the thing listed right on the top of the forums.
