TANK vs. PURE

Pure almost all the time.
But I have seen like 2 tanks down a pure once in awhile.
D bow specs seems to be a killer of pures now a days.

 

Doesn't matter, it's which PKer has more skill/better tactics.

 

As the guy said above me, the one who usually wins the fight is the pker with the best tactics/pk skills.

I'd say pking someone as a range tanker is about 75% luck because of random bolt hits and bolt special. 25% is probably eating/pots/veng.

And pking someone as a pure requires waiting the ''high hit'' from main weapon and then use the dragon dagger fastly.

well thats a stupid question... it depends on the stats. i mean a maxed obby mauler vs. like 60 range 40 def. obviously tank won. in the case of 99attk + str with ags vs. 99range + 99def. well i think the pure would win

 

Pure wins with rush but in a DM only if its lucky.

Example:

lvl 77 range tank vs. lvl 77 range pure

if pure rushed with dbow it would usually do a 1 or 2 hit k.o. but if it isnt lucky and it runs out of spec tank will just down it =(

 

Tank. A pure will never hit on 99 defence.

Also, pures are hardly ever in the combat range of tanks.

 

I see tanks win all the time. Also since Javs/Dbolts are so cheap and hit so high, they own especially on non+1 item worlds. also tanks usually have 94 mage sooooo

Yeah cause pretty much itd be like a person dealing LOTS of damage with no real survivability compared to a tank with lots of defence and decent damage, especially seeing as bolts hitting 30+ easily through monk robes compared to a DDS hitting through torags and dragonhide..even if they hit it'll still be very low, and even THEN tanks have higher health so theyre fucked

 

To me it depends on how well the person made the account.

They could be the same levels but one account could have been trained by sw so it has better stats at a lower lvl?

If the pure has 99 atk bye tank.

 

I have a maxed tank and i my bolts rip through pures, especially with vengeance.

hmm well I've got a maxed pure, and never lost to a tank, tanks usally safe, pray when I still hitting high. They are complete fail at hybrid pking since each one thinks themself to be a elvemage. I just use anti fire pot, and they can't hit anymore than I do.. I once rushed a tank

34,34,28 with granite maul and this guy was 70+ def with torag legs, and helm.

 

My maxed tank genrally rips threw pures. it does depend on luck i guess.. but Tanks are better genrally.

 

Tank VS Normal pure = Tank wins
Tank VS Skilled pure = Pure wins..

And if you wonder where the skilled tank is.. They don't exist, doesn't take skills being a tank.
