Guide to - free 1 month Xbox live trial

Every Xbox 360 will come with three 1 month Xbox Live Gold trials. If you don't already know how to do this you're probably thinking "wait, what? My Xbox didn't come with free XBL!" I assure you, it did

1. Go to www.hotmail.com - create a windows live ID (you will need this to sign up on Xbox Live)
   
2. Go to your Xbox, hit the guide button, scroll down to "Create Profile"
   
3. Once you have created your profile, hit "Join Xbox Live"
   
4. You should be prompted for your Windows Live ID and password, enter it. It should ask you to create a gamertag.
   
5. Once you have made your gamertag, it should then prompt you to either choose gold or silver membership. Choose silver. It should tell you that you are eligible for a free 1 month gold trial.

Congratulations, you're done. The only downside to this is that you only get three trials, and that you have to make a new account every time (your stats/gamerscore won't be saved from your other profiles. I used mine to create Halo accounts (usually for clips for a montage, but they're great for ranking up and playing low level people to get practice in)

I know this is common knowledge but I've seen people who don't know how to do it so I figured I'd make a guide for those who don't.
