Donations

I think you should be able to Donate through paypal somehow as i see alot of potential donations are being wasted. As a Uk citizen theres realy no way for me to donate, Through mail only and it would cost almost the donation to send it. I understand that theres the problem of chargebacks. If a large amount possible do it in increments? Say $20 do four $5's. Also only take Donations via paypal from semi trusted users.

Even trusted users tend to scam and I don't think sythe wants to deal with all the paypal bs.

 

Already been suggested before. I agree, it should be accepted (I would have already donated), but I guess it's too much hassle :s

 

If someone does charge back...you just take the little donation pic next to their name away...not too hard? I'd donate...

 

If the money has been used then the pp balance becomes negative.

 

And another problem with that is that users could donate $200+ therefore would become much more trusted [if they didnt do 30 posts a day] and could abuse it then claim back the money after scamming therefore have lost nothing but been aided in scamming by sythe basically.

 

What if they made you claim and cancel?
No way someone could chargeback, unless they are CC funded.

Only accept "Bank Funded/Money that already is on paypal" accounts.

yes you still can, and you would not believe how many times this suggestion has been made lol.

Here's my suggestion

1. admin makes ebay account
2. sells the ranks via ebay
3. person buys ranks thru ebay and is put here, simple

cant charge back for ebay purchases

IMO the admins should allow it for only certain people and they go through and look at their rep and shit before they donate :/

I want to donate, and I can't.

 

I know the paypal option would not be implemented anytime soon however I do feel it would be acceptable for members to be able atleast a small amount rather than 200$. And only to highly respected/well known/trusted members, I myself can name a handful that would never charge back on a paypal donation and certainly WOULD if they could donate using paypal at all.

 

I think its a fair suggestion, but im pretty sure the hassle of doing it isnt quite qorth it to them.

 

Agreed I can't donate from here. They don't accept AUD converting into USD is to much of a hassle and the shipping is expensive.

 

I agree it would be a lovely thing to have.

I am quite sure TJ once ran donations through paypal.

It's just quite hard for Sythe to find someone he can trust to do it for him seeing he hasn't got the time.

 

Accept paypal donations for nothing in return. It is a donation, after all...

Or if you really want to give something back but don't trust the person, wait 45 days for the payment to become indisputable.

I donate all my money made to this other site i go on,there is absolutely no way to chargeback,claim or anything,cant you guys do that?
