I finally took it upon myself to fire up Photoshop.
This is my first time using stars/lightballs
These may be way lighter or way darker than expected thanks to my laptops LCD screen.
Multiple lightsources thanks to the helmet.

The text is a bit of a distraction. It's sharpened and open in the sig. Also, the sig seems a bit plain as if you took a background and threw a render over it. It's okay, but I'd work on the text and filling up some of the negative space. Also, you might want to higher the contrast a bit ;).

It's not bad,as KIABIN said, though the primary lightsource (the one which you made from above), is actually from below. You can see that on the palm of his left hand, and the drill.

Secondly, the composition is missing something to make it stand out.

Finally, monotone signatures aren't always very successful, try using complimentary or secondary colours to liven up the colour scheme.

The light on the drill and hand come from the helmet, I should have diluted them more.

I pretty much agree with everything that has been said.
Monochrome pretty much sums it up.

I think you could actually make something very good out of that. I might give it a go later. Just add underwater photo filters and blue and black gradients with a few touches. It could actually be a great sig.

I had a look at underwater but I setteled for deep yellow.

Deep yellow and underwater are a perfect mixture if you use them right. Deep yellow set to 38 on darken and basically any setting with an underwater one.
