Same here guys, still holding onto my shields, and have a decent amount of money to spend when I suspect the items will bounce back up. I will post if I suspect a rebound also.

 

I sold my shields and bought the capes =] They are a a new low bought 30mil worth hopefully a clan picks them up so I can make a good 10m

Where did you hear this? Jagex always has supported Merchanting clans as long as you don't force people to buy items (ei. you have to say "i suggest you buy x...")

I've been hanging in world 2 often and mods have been muting all the spammers, and also I've heard a lot of talk that Merch CC owners are going to get banned because its the new age of scamming.
Thats just the word on the street, no actual Mod confirming this.

 

any tips for a starter merch? im going into the game and ftp.

 

I don't see how JaGeX could "ban" merch clans, they aren't breaking any rules, and they wouldn't be able to stop players buying from the Grand Exchange. Sure, they can ban auto-talkers advertising the clan, but that is about it. It is not the new age of scamming but nobody is actually stealing your money; you're just not investing well.
