Sleep paralysis story/

This had me scared to sleep for awhile. A couple nights ago while i was sleeping I thought i woke up but i couldn't move. I wasn't as scared because i always have sleep paralysis (every couple weeks) but after awhile i couldn't wake up!

After about what seemed 5 minutes trying to wake up i started to levitate off my bed. My tv was on and i can see what was on tv. but if i started to panic i would float down to my bed and if i sort of focused i would float again (hard to explain), I had 10+ experiences with sleep paralysis and this hasn't happened to me yet where i started to float

Also im not sure if this happens to anyone else who has sleep paralysis but when you legitimately wake up does it seem like you can easily go back into the sleep paralysis state again? Sorry had to ask since while im on this topic.

 

When you enter R.E.M. sleep you become paralyzed so you do not act out your dreams.

Well if you have sleep paralysis as often as i do it ain't really all that scary anymore/ Besides when you start to float and you have no idea wtf is happening.

 

Yeah, I get sleep paralysis all the time.

A few weeks ago I had a weird one also, I woke up and couldn't move like usual but it felt like I was shaking and somebody was whispering something that I couldn't understand.

It only lasted all of about 10 seconds because I know how to get out of Sleep Paralysis but it still really freaked me out. I have gotten it since then but its always just the normal time.

 

Yeah i also know how to get out of it to it was just that one time. It's weird when you try to get out of it, it's like you can't but a couple seconds later you're waking up out of it so creepy lol

 

I wish I had sleep paralysis

 

i had a very severe case a few years ago,i dont know if it goes under the same topic but i couldnt stop shaking and i kept seeing angels everywhere, i wasnt cold tho but it felt like it i had around 10 blankets on kinda spooky

 

This is all pretty weird :/

Can you guys stop it happening or do you induce it or what?

 

I once had sleep paralysis, it was kind of hard to remember but i was laying on bed and trying to sleep when i didn't really want to sleep, i kind of was sleeping but my eyes were open and i could see what were happening, it only lasted for like 2-3minutes tho. Very good experience, happened to me only once tho...

 

We can stop it pretty much all the time but when you try to stop it, it seems like you can't but a couple seconds you're waking up/ Really hard to explain though lol..

 

Yeah, its almost like you have to go through it for a couple seconds before you wake up. It really is hard to explain how to get out of it XD

 

luckily, i do not have paralysis. and i hope i won't ever get it. it sounds like some scary stuff.

 

The levitating is what is known as an Out of Body Experience.

 

I've had it maybe 3 times and its pretty scary. Has anyone else had it and tried to talk or scream and couldn't? I've had that before.
