Paranormal Activity.

Honestly, the reviews it gotten had hyped the movie up way too much.

It's just another Blair Which Project, it was just poor budget, but decent acting and editing. It was released in select cities, then all over.
Kind of like Snakes on a Plane, but it Paranormal Activity didn't fail when it reached nationwide.

If you go into the movie during daylight hours, looking for a trembling fright, you won't find it, unless easily scared. However, go at night, believing what you see is real, you'll have troubles sleeping for a long while.

In the end, I believe the movie was good, just not as expected. It's worth seeing, only in theatres.

Go watch a scarier movie. Like The Cannibal Holocaust, or the Blaire Witch.

 

I'd give it a 6. It was indeed, overly hyped. It was, meh, scary. Nothing you'd see, just thinking a ghost/demon did it was what made it scary.

Beginning is very slow. Almost no dialog.


And I found it funny when the demon went into the room, when they woke up, he ran out and shut the door like a little kid trying to not get caught.

 

eh, it was alright, a little bit of spooks here and there. nothing to special.

but way to many people over hype, exaggerate, etc.

 

I was thinking about going to see it but now not so sure.

 

I'll probably wait for this to come out on dvd. Or better yet DL it, I don't really see movies in theatre if they are too media-hyped. I'll spend my money on saw 6 and dl this one.
