    Is "spam" really spam?

In a discussion is saying responses such as "lol nice" to a video someone finds on youtube or a funny picture really spam? I'm not talking about that person that responds to every single message, but if you watch a video someone posts and you compliment them on their find... how is it spam? Your giving your feedback on a particular thread.
    Discuss.

Finn already archived your other thread with the same topic.

    AND

How is "lol nice" giving feedback, if you were to give feedback you would go into more detail and explain what you liked about the video.

What I liked about the video: Twas funny. The meaning of "lol"

And yes he archived it because I guess it was in the wrong section? I was editing it because I realized I clicked the wrong area :] Was gonna have them move it. But it kinda fits there... Are mods being too harsh? This can be a suggestion for them to not be.

EDIT: The guy below my post on that thread all he said was that it was useless.........so.............which is worse? Pretty pathetic.

The rules are there to be read.
Just give a decent explanation maybe a sentence or two and it shouldn't be classified as spam.

I locked this very thread yesterday, which indicates that it's stupid. Why make it again? The answer is obvious. Stop creating this thread or you'll be infracted.
