My Gfx needs Advice

Hey guys I am 11 Years old and I was told by my family I am pretty good with what I do as in making sigs and gfx so I am checking if I really am give me tips and improvements. And even suggestions.

I'm 14. Age doesn't matter. How good you are depends on your skill level and how well you listen to other people's suggestions.

Hey guys I have made 3 new sigs here let me post them. Compare them with my old ones.

 

There's basically no difference. They're still lacking flow, use of effects correctly, a light source, and depth. You don't take something and cover up what you're supposed to be focusing on. And the colors need to have improvement.

 

Remove borders, most of the time borders ruin tags.
Also do not try to add text in the corners of your sigs.
A stroke around your render doesn't usually work.
Keep the render effect clean untill you learn to throw the right effects over it.

Try to create a focal point, this is the point where the people will look when you make your tags. Focal points will help you create a focal obviously but will also help create a sense of depth and lighting.
In general things far away are blurry thing close are sharp try to do this with the blur tool, blur filter, sharpen tool and sharpen filter.

To create a better lighting scene you can use the dodge and burn tool to make things stand out more or less.
General lighting is made by soft brushes on a different layer style like: overlay, lighten etc.

Maybe this doesn't tell you much yet but I believe it will help you in the long run!

Some of the links i msged you are some advnaced stuff so just ignore them go to the site i showed you and just scroll over onto beginners section you'll be amazed of what you'll learn there now go now and check it out ok.

thats good for being fricken 11 years old! I thought I was young for doing this but ya deviantart and your set every day I aint great either because I have been doing web design now for a while witch is fun

 

You are pretty good but can you tell me what did you use to make your sigs is it photoshop?
