    I recently just got banned for 7 days for buying gold does the gp get removed from the account once the ban is gone?

    Rwt moderate 7 day ban
    As far as I know that's a first one. Previously, GP buyers usually did not get banned but when they did get banned, it was a permanent RWT one.

    Jagex has stated they may remove gold as well. I guess the only thing to do now is wait and find out.

    In to hear whether they remove it or not. There have been a couple other posts on here recently of people already receiving temp bans for buying. Don't think they listed whether the gp was removed or not, though.

    I bought 200m, staked it and got up to 1bill then got banned right after the update happened on wednesday, so I wont be unbanned till this coming wednesday so i'll update the thread once im unbanned the RWT message that jagex sent to people wasn't a joke so be careful when buying gold.

    Had some guy say in a private Facebook group say they didn’t take his gp after his 3 day ban but another person said they took his 50m after the 3 day ban so who knows

    That is weirdly interesting. They punish with a 7day RWT ban but then don't discourage the buyer by removing the gold. Happy for you though :)
