I fought this guy in DM. He had me buy his dchaps and d vamps and coif and strength pot before the fight... Lol, afterwards this is what he says: (Im kevin)

Lol, why is he telling you to wear d hide or monk robes if you have 1 pray and 1 range. If you have these stats its better to just wear full iron for better defense.

People always call me that when I wear full rune in the wildy. Well, I guess I do randomly attack people wearing monk robes. But that's all that they wear :/

 

Yeah if I go in with nothing, people get mad. if I go in with bronze, people get mad. wth? Lol

 

They just want you to go fight with the most expensive armour so they hope to get that in a drop, but then when you start owning them they complain and call you a safer and run away :noworry:

He's a dumbass. Wear what you want as long as your stats make up for it.

 

I bet you if I wore rune (which I cant but if i could) people would say even more crap lol. idc if someone wears rune in the wild... just more drops and means they have much lower str! people are stupid >_<

 

Not really. He actually lost btw. I called him a noob because he doesn't know how to pk. YES, L2PK. If you read the text I say something about not seeing my switches, referring to the range/2h combo. He got lucky a few times by not eating at 10 hp because he was too wrapped up in 2hing me when my hp was above his max hit. Sure, you can wear whatever you want. I didnt care at all. But wearing nothing makes you look POOR and nobody will take you seriously.
Also, he couldn't fight anymore after he died, he ran out of money. Maybe he couldnt afford bronze. The only reason for the armor is to utilize its bonuses. Thats like a ranger going in with no armor, disregarding any range bonus from coifs, dhides, etc. But if he doesn't want to wear armor, fine. And clearly his stats didnt make up for his lack of attire. (only a 15k drop).
P.S. I didnt really care that I killed him and the ko was a tad cheap, but he refused a RM. O well. And it wasnt a DM.
Maybe every user flaming me can now stroke their e-peen themselves.
