A Very Good Suggestion

To stop so many scams I suggest you add two sub categories to the black market, verified account, and unverified accounts, it would save users alot of stress and would also show who is actually legit for a trade, just an idea

So, becasue we know the account is really in the possesion of the person selling it means he won't recover it?

I'm assuming you got this idea from Rsbot. I think it would put too much pressure on moderators and would require a bit of time, which means they probably wouldn't do it. I could only see this happening if there was a specific person assigned as the official verifier, but even so it is stil not necessary.

 

But it would stop alot of scammers

Most moderators wouldn't go through the trouble of verifying, it requires too much time and adds extra workload on that they do not need. As you can see the Anti-Scam sections are filling up quickly...

Well, maybe if sythe gave it a shot, there might be a chance of scammers reducing?

 

Just because the account is verified, it doesn't mean that the user owning the account won't scam. All it means to have a 'verified account' is that the cash/recoveries/bank pin/infractions/email are as what the pictures show, but that is already verified by a Middleman if you do so choose to use one.

Therefore, if you want an account to be verified, use a Middleman, but even then you are at risk of the user recovering the account, as you may see here.
