    Pigeon Alarms.

My school recently decided to install pigeon alarms to control the overwhelming number of them on the roofs and in the corridors. The alarm is desgined to release A "Squawking" noise when A bird flies past the sensor but the only problem is the noise doesn't seem to affect the pigeons and they have decided to perch on the sensors. The alarm goes off non-stop now, even during class and exams. What I wanted to know is: Does anyone else's school have these stupid alarms?

Haha NOOOOO way! That's just complete idiodicy on the senior managements behalf!
    What an absurd idea....
Why did they want to reduce the number of pigeons anyway?

    A. It isn't anything on the schools fault, the local mp decided to install it.

    B. Back in 2004 you'd be lucky to even see 2 pigeons A day at my school, fast forward to 2009 and you'd be lucky not to see 2. There are 150+ pigeons that just hang around all day.

Use your head. How would you like to go to school every morning covered in bird shit?

noticed his owl picture and it reminded me that some people have fake owls on their roofs to scare off other birds. Seems like a better idea but they probably don't want fake birds all over the roofs, not the greatest mascot either.

Nah we don't want anything on the roof as at each end of the year we tie A ridiculously oversized sex doll on it.

Fake birds would just be a target for projectiles.

That's not the only reason though, the stupid brainless things like to nest inside all the air conditioner units, we had A sub teacher turn it on once and pigeon feathers came out >_<.

Do you live in a major city like New York City, Boston, Los Angelos, Atlanta.. etc? That's why you have those alarms. Nobody else's school really has pidgeon problems.
