The oldest, and best of RSBots: SCAR.

Hello, this is a quick guide on SCAR,

SCAR is Shit Compared to Auto-Rune. Auto-Rune was the FIRST bot ever made for RuneScape, it was by far the best bot ever made. You could dupe items, train multiple skills at once (also around 100 accounts with no lag), etc. AutoRune was killed by Jagex in early 2003 when they added a few failsafes to their server's code. (This was the first mass ban of macroers, over 10k were banned.)

Kaitneiks (the creator of Auto-Rune) set out to make an undetectable macro... this macro he called "SCAR" (See above for the acronym). As it would never be as perfect or as 1337 as Auto-Rune, but hell, he did an amazing job. SCAR was started in early 2003, and has been working since. It is basically a color bot, with amazing TPA, DTM, and Object finding.

One of the most common misconceptions is that SCAR is not as accurate as RSBot, because it does not click tiles... this is untrue. SCAR uses something called reflection which reads the client (undetectable), rather than hacking it (like RSBot). SCAR is undetectable, it is impossible for Jagex to detect it, the only way you can get banned from scar is if the script you are using SUCKS. (Which is rare, as the scripters at http://www.villavu.com put a lot of work into their script.)

SCAR is:

• Minimize-able.
• Undetectable.
• Hybrided (Color or reflection),
• Humanlike,
• Solves ALL randoms,
• and 100% customize-able.

SCAR was not the first bot.
AutoRune was killed off when they started encrypting the packets.
SCAR was made to show that good color bots could still be written, not to be undetectable.
SCAR itself is not a reflection bot- this possibility only comes with SMART.

1. Never once did I say SCAR was the first bot, I said AutoRune was.
2. AutoRune was actually killed when they started CHECKING packets. (For example you could not be standing somewhere in falador, but mining in varrock)
3. It was made to show color bots could be written, but all the includes were made based off undetectability. (Squig, SRL, etc... I did not want to say this as I tried to keep it simple.)

This bot IS kickass. Reflection is down right now, but it should be up shortly. Stop paying for RSBots.net when there is a free bot that is just as good.

 

SCAR died long ago.

Freddy1990 had to revive it, and he's not doing a very good job + all the scripts fucking suck.

Scar is amazing, if your really good at scripting. but for those who dont know alot about scripting have a hard time using scar. Its by far the best bot out there if you know how to use it. otherwise its useless.

The people that flame SCAR are the people that don't know how to use it to its potential.
You're just idiots that like to click Da rsbawt start butt0n n den da skript wil lyk run.
SCAR is still an amazing bot, with a strong community behind it.

 

SCAR is a great bot, just i like using the rsbots.net scripts better, since they're minimizable and are running perfected scripts. Besides, i always had to pay for good SCAR scripts.

 

I remember then 10k mass ban in 2003 to bad i wasnt botting at the time. Scar is really a great program as he said before it all about knowing how to use it properlly my only problem is i dont know how to script. Tried teaching my self several times but it never worked. Rsbot.org is fairly good besides the fact its very detectable(Im not saying everyone that uses it gets banned but yeah). But i must admit i do prefer Rsbots.net simply because it has great features and i dont always have to worry about downloading updated scripts; Its more of a conveinence for me. But you are right Scar is a remarkable program if used right!
