Alch.com Closed

Just noticed the legendary Alch.com has shut down.
Anyone know the reasoning behind this?

Message on their site:

Alch.com (https://alch.com/) is shutting down today (October 19, 2021).
We’d like to be remembered as the place you could trust in a questionable market.
To all Venezuelans, you’ve left a long term impact on our lives. We hope things get better with time.
To all past clients, thank you for trusting us. Sometimes with more than we understood why.
Warning: There will be a gap in the market with us leaving. Any website, discord, or person claiming to be Alch affiliated is probably trying to scam you from this point forward.
