I dont think the riddle is possible, you dont state how many hours he works a regular day, unless thats what the 8 hours was. is it around $277,642.86? (i didnt account for a leap year, that would take too much time to calculate and would require a bit more info)

Ok, It is possible.

I forgot to say something. For this riddle, imagine that all week has 7 days and and there are 52 weeks in a year.

The 8 days are the regular days.

You should be able to work out two sums.
A sum for the weeks he misses Mondays.
A sum for the weeks he works on Mondays.
From this you should multiple each by 26 (for 26 weeks as 52 weeks in a year, he misses Mondays every second week)
Now you should be able to deduct holiday time (6 weeks which is 3 weeks with no Monday and 3 weeks with Monday)
Now you can add both sums together to get a yearly value.
Multiply by 10 for 10 years (no need to calculate leap years)
Theres your answer =)

Let me Help.

He gets $100 on weekdays.
He gets $75 on Weekends.
Thats $650 a week when he works Mondays.

Without Monday every second week,
its:
$100 x 4 weekdays
$75 x 2 weekends,
Thats $550 a week when he works without Mondays.

You know have the weekly pay. There are 52 weeks in a year. Half of them he is working on Monday, the other half he is not.

Work that out to get Yearly Payment. Deduct (3 weeks without Monday and 3 weeks with Monday)

You now have yearly payment. Forgot leap years and now multiply by 10!

Be quick, this should be easy now.
