End of RWT Golden Age?

Just came across with this today
Does Jagex hit people this hard with RWT or whats the reason a huge seller like Alch would quit.

 

Wow... I didn't expect this... Why did Alch quit?

 

Jagex is going with all to tackle rwt , imagine that they were able to do this at any moment, but they didn’t.
Still sad to see alch leave...

 

I thought it was because 80% of the Venezuelans who played osrs went to nft games, where they get in 1 day what they did in a week in osrs, I even thought that's why there would be a better balance.

 

End of RWT? There's like 250 gold sellers and buyers constantly buying and selling.

 

They actually are banning buyers now though. OP didn't say the end of RWT, he said "golden age" which is definitely arguable.

Jagex actually banned someone for buying gold in another thread, the rwt scene will take a huge hit if they keep it up

Anyone know why alch left? Did they get hit by bans or?

 

They're going after buyers or at least scaring people into thinking they're going after buyers. Apparently on Oct 13th I got a message on my account that I did not notice until today where it said I've been suspected of RWT and that this is my final warning. Funny coincidence is that I bought gp on that same day they sent the message but had no idea because I never check my account messages. A week later today, I log in to see that I have a 3 day ban for RWT (minor). Will be interesting to see if they remove the gp although their warning implies they'll give us a pass this time but any future RWT behavior will get us banned or wealth removed.

 

Im not a buyer ,but all sellers never NEVER Never received any type of alert or something before a BAN screen (3 years of RWT an a lot of accounts lossed)

 

One of Alch's workers replied to me: "The ownership of Alch.com has decided to move on to bigger and better things. We'd like to thank everyone that made our journey as enjoyable as it was but all good things must come to an end, we're closing our doors."
I guess demand wasn't that great like Bogla had. And eventually the ERA of RuneScape will come to an end... First steps were made by Jagex, we will see what will happen when they will close duel arena. Anyway, gambling on RSPS is more enjoyable than on osrs.

Yeah until Jagex starts bitching about no private servers allowed and start a witch hunt

 

Also Jagex knows that people will come back to the game , even though there is not duel arena , runescape is an addictive game , is like what mayory of the community says: “You not quit the game , you just take a rest”

 

But do most people want to grind 200 hours for 500m 07? I dont think so. So those people who bought gp for skilling/comfort or else wont be playing most likely. If they would they would just play ironman but thats highly unlikely.
If you get flagged for 80m trades,tough times coming up then.

 

I think that soon all runescape market will just move to a new game

 

Maybe just maybe the players find a new way to make a efficent RWT
