Does anyone suffer from Migraines?

Hi, i am 15 years old turning 16 in 2 months and i suffer from occasional migraines. I only get one in every few months but its the worst pain ever, in the past three weeks i have had 2 migraines all on Saturday. What is a migraine? "Migraine has now been shown to be a genetic neurological disease characterized by flare-ups often called "Migraine attacks." A headache can be one symptom of a Migraine attack, but it's just that -- one of the possible symptoms. Some Migraineurs (people with Migraine disease) have Migraine attacks without having a headache." Not all people suffer from Migraines and they cannot understand the pain people have to go through, sometimes people get migranes from triggers which is a certain smell like calone or bright light. What happens to me is i have noticed that i get them when i am exposed to a lot sunlight without sunglasses i seem to get them. Before i get a migraine i get a sign called an aura which can be a blind spot, bring spots in your vision this usually happens to me 20 minutes before i start to get the headache, at that point i immediately take an Aleev or Advil ect.. When i get the migraine it is a horrible pain which results in me vomiting a lot. The only way for the migraine to go away is to sleep, sleeping is like pushing the reset button and i wake up and its gone but i have an after effect where my head hurts if i move or shake. The main reason to write this is for information to people. What i have found when i get a migraine if i'm out wearing sunglasses helps dwell the pain and it actually subsides the auras sometimes, when i try to sleep with a migraine it takes me hours but i have found if i just lay there and concentrate on sleeping it only takes a few minutes. Migraines normally come from weather, or something else like your stomach bothering you so much, that you stress out and get a serious headache so ask your doctor.

My friend's mom once told him "You get so many migraines now because your father fucked the shit out of me while i was pregnant for you".

 

I normally get migraines when it is windy. The smell of some chemicals can also trigger them :|.

 

I get about one a month usually. They're pretty terrible. I don't always throw up from them but a good half of the time I wind up puking or at least to the point where I'm standing over the toilet not sure if it's going to come lol.

They suck major ass. I usually try to lay down with a warm wet cloth over my eyes and forehead and try to keep still. Practically any noise also seems to be a hammer hitting me in the head.

I never really feel them coming on they just kind of hit me. I also haven't noticed a pattern to what provokes them it seems to just be whenever.

 

You should try putting A cold cloth on your feet, yes feet lol as it cools down your whole body.

Some food additives and preservatives seem to trigger my migraines sometimes.
