Mafioso's workers cleaned 1b+ off an end game 2233 ironman...

He's used Mafioso in the past and never had issues, he logged in about 2 hours ago and the bank is completely cleaned. I think he ordered a few 99's on this order and it had over 1b bank including DWH,DHL, Bandos, Prims etc etc + a ton of supplies..

He recorded his bank before so there's that but it has a username visible so on mods request we can send that over for the proof.

What my friend wants is a full refund of the services that are currently active and his items regained / = value to what was lost compensated. He does not want a cash refund for the items lost he wants his items back as its well over $5k+ usd it would cost to acquire these items and probably more considering you have to start from absolutely nothing...

Hopefully we can get him taken care of ASAP because this is absolutely egregious.

My order was opened in the Mafioso Raids discord server on 9/30/2021

I asked for 53k mith ore to be smithed into bars at BF, needed them to buy 91k coal in order to do this
I had 8k mith bars already banked so I also asked them to smith all 61k mith bars into dart tips
I also asked for 61k of my teak logs to be made into planks
Also ordered 93-99 thieving at pyramid plunder, or until a sceptre was pulled, which it was, then they finished at ardy knights
This part of the order totaled 1334.5m which was paid on 9/30
Also on 9/30 bank value of 1.41B was confirmed in the chat via screenshot

I sent account info, pin included to one of their workers Buchu and he began on the thieving portion of the order right away

On 10/3 they added a new worker to the chat to handle buying the 91k coal for the order, Eslam, and he's been kicked from the chat as of now

On 10/5 Buchu gave acc info to Eslam, claims he didn't give pin info so only Buchu and myself had the pin

On 10/7 I added 91-99 agility to the order, to be done at the Ardy course
707m was paid for this

On 10/12 Eslam confirmed he finished buying all the coal and had me take out items for him to start smithing the mith bars at BF

The last update I got was from Buchu on 10/14, he got 92 agility around 4:39am PST
I was up working late that night so I was able to log in after him just to check on my account, out of habit
The account was left at the ardy course with the inventory items I left for Eslam to start on smithing
Everything looked fine there so I didn't bother to check my bank account, so not sure if I had already been hacked at this point

I went to log into my account again today, 10/14, just to check on progress since no more updates had been dropped in the chat
I saw my character bare in lumby with my account name changed
I ran to the Lumby cellar bank, Pin was still the same as the one I gave to Buchu, and when I logged in I saw all my items and supplies had been taken

I hit them up in discord and they opened a support ticket for me but no updates yet

I took a screen recording of my bank account before the order started and before I handed over the account info, I always do this to be safe

And I also have a screen recording of my bank now. All my supplies are gone like logs for cons, herbs and secondaries, potions, ore/gems, food, all armor including bandos full arma a bunch of barrows pieces DWH blade of saeldor ACB DHL dinhs DHCB all my banked bones and hides, alchables, the list goes on

Wouldn't be that upset if this was on a normal account, things could be replaced, but this is an Ironman account that I've spent 1000s of hours on over the past 3-4 years

I've used Mafioso in the past with no issues, so it's sad to see it happen now. YellowHat tried to warn me when I told him I'd be purchasing services from Mafioso but I went ahead with them anyway given the past order history I have with them

I was not aware of this issue previously, and am investigating it thoroughly as we speak!

Our Raids server has co-owners, whom it appears were investigating this prior on their own.

Honestly nothing they can really do to fix the situation. If they are willing to spend the next 6-8 months grinding on my account to get all my stuff back then I'd be okay with that but I don't see that happening lol

Refunding me in gold won't do anything, I spent years on that Iron and it was taken away in minutes because they decided to hire some shit scammer to do services for them

 

There were no TOS agreed to for this order. Maybe because I've ordered a ton of services from them in the past
But I have a screen recording of the entire work order chat, no TOS were mentioned or agreed upon

Spencer has stated he will be available to assist us on Monday, so we'd like to wait until then to begin discussing things here.
We have been in contact on Discord, and have a group chat that Yellow Hat is involved in.

 

In response to this, I cannot confirm whether or not I agreed to the TOS since I'm a member of their server. It's possible that they updated this after I already joined.

TOS 8 doesn't pertain as I didn't violate any TOS, unless me logging on violated TOS, but my order was never cancelled so this means I didn't violate any TOS

Also just spoke on a discord call with LordZuku, and I provided him with my runelite log files for them to examine

 

It's funny that they would think after spending 2b in services with them, that I would clean my ironman account for 1b, the one I've been working on for years and have invested 5 figures into with services

 

We did make contact today, and have been communicating for possible resolutions.

Just an update on the current status.

 

@Yoshiki We have spoken with @Exxistential @LordZuku and we appreciate them checking @Spencercslv1 runelite files and determining that it was in fact their employee with a 2B deposit who if I'm not mistaken is Eslam found in the picture below and based off what Exxistential has said he will be removed from the server after the process and not allowed on anymore accounts.








It's good to know they are going to remove him and protect future clients for these types of issues.

We sent an offer in which is roughly 15-20% of his bank / supplies that were lost and they said no. The offer sent was what we felt to extremely fair as it would only give him a start back towards what was lost however they declined the offer and said it's "too rng based" even though the materials aren't RNG and just require skilling or acquiring the gold to buy.





That being said it still leaves us at a place we aren't comfortable to accept what their offering. They are currently offering no guarantees in terms of items being re acquired other than a few MISC ones such as Zen's,Slayer helm, fury, dk rings, and a whip.. They are offering to do an X amount of KC on each boss for a few of the items that were lost but only till the KC/Droprate is achieved for the said PVM content. Spencer also had paid them to get the BoS in a previous order...




This is an offer which is leaving him without any PVM supplies, 95% of his PVM items, no real cash stack and no guarantee the uniques will be returned to the previous state.

Currently he has an order open with them which is:






The total amount came to around 2041 .5m - 290m for the completed thieving leaving it at 1695m that is owed back to spencer since those services will not be completed.

Our current situation is that Spencer hasn't broken a TOS that would indirectly forfeit his rights to a fair Sythe ruling so we feel he shouldn't have to accept a near nothing offer. There shouldn't be a reason his offer isn't fair and that asking for what he is asking back is unreasonable. Sythe isn't a place where a worker can just scamquit someone and the provider walks away owing 5% of what was lost back.. If a provider recovers an account or sells an account for someone else he must repay 100% of that back, if someone scams someone in a trade for 2b they are required to pay that 2b back if they ever wish to return to Sythe based on the value of gold when scammed. We aren't even asking for 100% back just 15-20% of his lost bank via items recovered..

Their worker has a 2b deposit and the rest will have to come out their pockets which is normal.. If you have an employee steal from a client in almost any company or industry the company itself must reimburse said value to the client or those who were damaged. It does not appear they wish to do more than the bare minimum to make this situation "go away" .

Currently these are the main missing items from his account.









It seems they either cannot afford to fix this or simply do not wish to make it right to an extent that satisfies what is needed to return to playing his account. Spencer hasn't asked for much and is really only wanting essential things to play the game again.. He hasn't requested a cash payout based on the IronMan difficulty of acquiring these said items and hasn't mentioned anything about wanting any form of payment other than his returned items. We know its impossible to do a 1:1 ratio of what is lost and that it will take a really long time / money to fix. Things do happen and he understands that, no ones trying to put @Exxistential or @LordZuku in a situation they cannot get out of but leaving a client that was scammed by a worker of theirs without the proper materials to continue playing his account isn't something that should be allowed either.


We are going to counter offer here and hopefully staff can come to a conclusion in terms of what is reasonable , in the past when a clients accounts banned and its the fault of the vendor they are reimbursed fully for their account plus the incomplete services, and with ironmen we have seen much more strict rulings requiring higher payouts and costly refunds. Spencer DOES NOT WANT A CASH REFUND ON THIS HE JUST WANTS ENOUGH OF HIS BANK BACK TO PLAY HIS ACCOUNT. We do not want to waste too much time or staffs figuring this out as its pretty cut and dry of what should be done.

Our offer stands as of now the following which can be compared to what was actually lost from his bank viewable above as well verifiable through the video sent.
1.The refund of the gold that is incomplete on services which comes to 1695.5m after the thieving was done and the agility experience they completed.

As well this minus the services he ordered that are appearing below.

- 10m GP atleast, which would easily come from the actual reimbursement of PVM items so whatever comes from that.

Compare this to the list of actual lost items including the experience that was lost from the supplies he had banked for skilling.. This is an extremely reasonable list and probably only 15% of his actual bank back at the most. We aren't asking them to acquire 125m GP , all the MISC items that will require huge amounts of time like clue scroll rewards or all the herblore supplies , the barrows or everything else like the logs that were there for the service for the planks / 99 smithing..

Please take into consideration that he's not asking for cash back based on the value of his bank lost with it being an ironman, he didn't clean himself to get back 15% of his bank and no ones trying to profit off of this.. HE just wants to play his iron again and at the moment and for near foreseeable future its not going to be playable even after they start working on it back.

If they can't afford to fix situations like this then they shouldn't be offering services to accounts of this value or others like it.. You should be able to fix mistakes if you are there profiting off of them with labor that will do such things.

Please staff take a moment to see that this client got scammed and just wants to play his OSRS account again.. I was spences provider for many years and he's a good guy and doesn't deserve something like this happening to him.. Help him fix it so he can get back to scaping when he has the free time.

I would also like to request a DNT for them until there is a solid resolution in hopes it'll get them to reconsider their offers in a way that benefit the overall situation at hand.

This is nothing personal to them, I don't even know who they are outside of Spence telling me about ordering from them in the past This is not a competitive grudge or attack on their business and I feel the offer we are giving them is much less than what I would have suggested but spencer said this is all he wants back and just to be done with the situation.

Yes to make it more clear, the Mafioso team offered me a deal after they reviewed the Runelite logs I provided them. They would not have done this unless they were at fault.

They stated some items are 'far too rng' for them to replace which makes no sense since pretty much the entire game is RNG based
A whip could take 10k KC to get meanwhile a DWH could take 1 KC to get, and vice versa

I think given the situation, my offer was pretty fair

They are not even willing to finish the services that I have active on our current order, the one where their employee Eslam scammed me

They want to take the GP I paid them for current services and use that towards getting items back on my account. That is completely unacceptable to me. There is 1695m in unfinished services alone. I am including the coal buying service in this 1695m even though that was completed, it was all stolen from me by Eslam.

Like Yellow Hat mentioned, I'm not looking for a GP payout as I don't have a normal account I play on. Considering the thousands of hours I put into this Ironman account and the thousands of dollars I've put into it, some with Mafioso, I believe their offer is too low. And I believe most people would agree with me on that.

I thought it was extremely fair on my end to only have them get enough CoX KC to replace 3 items, and if they pull a Tbow then I would even pay out of pocket for that.

I do not expect 1:1 replacement value, even though a legitimate business would do this. But Mafioso does need to come closer to my offer.

I would also like to request a DNT for them until this gets resolved.

And I would ask that certain terms be put on this, like services being completed within a certain time frame so I'm not left without an account for 12 months.

 

They are also trying to leverage skilling XP as a bonus for me to try and screw me out of some items

I do not care about any skill XP that will be gained from this.

Yes they will be getting me bones from Hydra for prayer, but prior to getting hacked by their worker, I already had 99 prayer banked

I already have 99s in most stats that they would be training, the only thing really beneficial to me would be the herblore XP gained. And I'm even happy to pay out of pocket for that so they can't try and use that as an excuse for lowering compensation
