when your account is locked do recoverys get reset?

ok well im appealing an account for macroing and am appealing it using the option somebody else had access to my account, and it says that when i appeal it will be locked, when your account is locked do the recovery questions get deleted? THANK YOU!!!!! i really want this account back. Maybe this will work.

I'm really stressed over this and this seems like the place to ask this. Please nobody make fun of me for not knowing I locked an account before but I do not remember if it removes the recovery questions.

You have a choice when you make the recovery lol.... where it says recovery questions if you select [I did not set any recovery questions] it will delete them, If not it won't.

i dont think RECOVERYS work because in order to unlock your account u have to provide details that u are the owner of the account , trust me i have an account that is locked with recovs but idk the info on it : /

 

If ur acc gets locked (jagex thinks someone had access to ur acc), the recovs are not taken into consideration as the stealer could just set em. Jagex will only look at other info like previous passwords, creation date ; only the infos that the true owner knows.
So my advice : - if the acc is originally urs , ure totally safe when it gets locked, u can appeal and get accepted easily
- if you bought or stole this acc, dont even think about getting it locked ! ! Its worse than a perm ban, you have zero chance to get it back.
