Will buying gold be almost impossible or what do you guys say

 

An equally interesting question is: who will want to buy gold now?

I was flagged for gold buying and got the warning message.

Can't speak for others, but there is no way I am going to risk buying gold now that my account is on a watch list.

 

It'll be a game of cat and mouse.

The risks will be there, Will people still do it? Yes of course

Its interesting to see how this will pan out.

 

How much did you buy? I'm a pretty regular gold buyer as well and i didn't get any warning message

 

I bought a shit ton, mostly from Alch. So it doesn't surprise me I was flagged. I do wonder what percentage of gold buyers were flagged.

So if you didnt get a warning for buying gold and you buy gold now do you get a warning or straight banned?

 

I got the message. I do wonder if Jagex will really ban buyers though, especially "legit" players with 2k total accounts. They did try a scare tactic by threatening to ban account services and it hasn't really had an effect on that market. It remains to be seen. I don't think they would make a drastic change like removing the DA if they weren't serious tho. Looks like this is a business decision from them in the hopes that people buy more bonds.

I didn't get any messages and I've been buying a bit recently, I always avoided websites and only bought from personal sellers from Sythe, not sure if that matters though.

Seems like the story repeats. Who still remember 2010-2012 when Jagex released EOC? A lot of players moved out of RuneScape to RSPS

 

gold market will dwindle I imagine as stakers were the main source of both buying and selling gold. also gambling sites will see an increase in traffic.

 

I suspect RSPS will be booming again soon!
